Most of the mecha drawings I do are more of a profile pic, for this one I wanted to convey both action and speed.

It was tough at first to find a good balance of all the elements that make up this pic (lasers, gunfire, explositons,smoke, etc) without having one overpower the other.

Another element I had difficulty working on was acurately gauging the temperatures ( IE warm and cool colors) in the pic since I wanted the color from the explostions to be visible on the Variable fighter without it oversatuating it.

and one final element Im still worried about is the empty gun shells being dispersed from the gunpod. Im not sure if I added to may or to little as I was worried it would have cluttered up the drawing.

overall though Im happy with the way it looks over all, and as for the colors on the VF, well thats just a personal prefernce as I like the color blue
