Can you tell I'm getting slower as I get to the ones I'm having trouble with? ^_^;;;
Another one that I had a hard time actually deciding on. This chimera is for :wolfenashes:!
He's based off of my earliest imagined view of the chimera, which came from Chimera of Greek mythology. A fire-breathing monster with a lion's head, goat's body and a serpent's tail.
I guess when I was little, I didn't find it so impressive, because this is how I always pictured it, despite the obvious differences from the description ^_^; Not to mention Chimera was supposed to be a female XD;;
;3 Anyway, he made a really attractive mental image, so here he is, lying in wait for a rival to come down from a flight! I'd actually like to do him standing in full view sometime, as I did intend for him to be anthro. Just imagine he's crouching there, and is very beastial for an anthro ^__^;;

You might consider Nevada. Although Washington has no income tax (like Nevada), it is a high tax state nevertheless. Worse yet, the massive regulatory bureaucracy has made housing very expensive. Here in central Nevada, where there is no land use planning, zoning, or building permits, I bought my 2,500 square foot house for $57,000... It was a fixer upper - to the tune of another $8,000. Even if you rent, you are paying for the Seattle and Washington state regulations. A three bedroom two bath house in perfect condition rents for $700 a month here...
What sort of job would you be looking for?

We're actually looking at moving somewhere in Washington still, truth be told. I don't have too many details on it at the moment. Not even sure if it'll actually come through. If it does, we'll be rooming with a long time friend fo mine and her husband, hopefully in a house outside the city
As for jobs.. Well, not really sure, honestly. There's an extraordinarily long story behind my current situation, and it gets me rather frazzled and riled to go into it. :( I'm sure at some future time I'll air the linens, so to speak, but for now I'm in high need of a nap~

If it's the image you mean, then it's likely due to me erasing some markings I'd given him. XD I decided that goat markings weren't going to work, at least in the sketch..
