I want to do England, Ireland, Portugal, spain, France, Italy, Greece, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Russia, and then jump down to australia before returning to Alaska. I just hope I have the time to see it all. I don't want to be rushed. I want to take my time and really explore the culture and history
Nice. It will take you some 20 years to do it properly, then. And lots, lots of money. If you can afford it, lucky you.
Remember that it's not like over there, where customs stretch a few states... over here, customs are at most some 50 km wide... (with sub-customs different for every single little village) It's going to take time to explore them all!
