Older piece of my character Metatron... He is a kindly and sweet natured angel despite being the angel of death. In Dom and my rp he was created by the death god because he was lonely and is not a true angel of the main deity. However, "Kami" is a psychotic weirdo and does very nasty things to poor Metatron, in the end Metatron is killed by the Seraph Latis... And Shinigami goes bezerk and destroys the heavens. Little did Shinigami know, his angel Metatron loved him deeply... he finds this out afte he is reincarnated into a Mortal named Tomoru in a band named Jaded Edge (hence the rp Jaded Edge), and Metatron becomes his dream guide.. Naganennoyume aka Tanyu Hinota who is a fragile terminally ill, extremely famous writer.

So this Metatron isn't the same Metatron that was played by (the guy who played Hans Gruber in Die Hard and Prof. Snape in the Harry Potter movies) in the film Dogma?
Cause the real Metatron acts as the voice of God, and reads him the news gathered by all the other angels.
And the Death God? You mean Azrael, the friendly neighborhood Grim Reaper?

Not.... entirely, no. However, in some knowledge of angels, Metatron serves as the Voice of God, Heaven's Scribe and the main angel of death. He is supposed to have 35 or ten wings. Depending on the information one gathers. However, my Metatron is inspired but not the very same one.. I would feel uncomfortable rping him as the real being (as I am Christian). He is Heaven's Scribe however and Shinigami's angel of death. And no, the Death God in my rp is just a made up character.. He watches over his reapers and his angel of death. Its not Judeo-Christian. Its more of my and Dom's own mythology more than anything.
