A Sacred Oath for Paladins Beholden to Fanged Lords of the Night



Are you a Paladin? Do you find yourself wishing the blessings of divine oaths had a bit more bite to them? Do you want to become a fearsome warrior of the night, draining the vitality from your foes as you hunt them down with tooth and claw? Do you want to be a terrifying creature of darkness, yet still have the option to smite your foes, balanced on the razors edge of life and unlife?

Inspired by Alcard from the Netflix Castlevania series, the Blood King Paladin is the perfect fit for a CoS campaign, or as depicted, playing a member of the Blood of Vol in Eberron, or perhaps a secretive agent of House Dimir or a stern enforcer of the Orzhov Syndicate in Ravnica. Really, wherever there are vampires, blood mages, or creatures of the night, a Blood King Paladin can find their niche.
