*cuts n' pastes comments again! Mwaha* I actually drew this for a freestyle project in class last quarter. I don't think my teacher likes cartoons very much. I put as much work into this as the other stuff we've done, it looks about the same, yet this is the lowest I've gotten on a project. I made an 80, but still- he seems to frown every time I show him anime or something, even if he does admit it's good. XD
Anyways, this is Gary Hart, one of the many characters I play as with my RPs with Nami. This pic goes toward a Harvest Moon one we started off a long time ago. Gary was a traveller that became an assistant and partner to the farmowner's granddaughter, Cinna. While the work isn't too strenuous most of the time, he still likes to take the time to sit back and enjoy the scenery at times- one of the many things he enjoyed about his wandering days. So this is him and his pet fieldmouse kicking back near the farm.

Yea, my teacher hates cartoons as well, I think all art teachers do. But Iv'e found out why. Apparently, anyone can draw a cartoon. It takes a really good artist to draw all that other crap. And now thats just not true! The person who sits next to me? They arn't very good with either form.

Hmmm...yeah, I guess that is a bit true about toons, but everybody's got a certain style to how they do things I noticed. He does enjoy comics though, even airbrushed Batman and Superman a lot of times among other things. Maybe he's just into more realistic stuff.
Ah well, that class is over with now, so no use wondering about it anymore. And thanks for the comment! The trees were the tiny, annoying parts that took a majority of the time to do,but it was worth the risk of carpal tunnel! X3
