So I usually, upon getting a new sketchbook, put a portrait of Lord Ganesha on the front page. The writing is the Siddi Mantra, which is a short mantra spoken during morning meditation to ask for success for the day ahead. It translates as:

Salutations to the Supreme Lord Ganesha, whose curved trunk and massive body shines like a million suns and showers his blessings on everyone.

Sorry the scan is so terrible, it's attached to my sketchbook still, and scanning it is awkward.
