So there was a delay because the laptop I use for the comics crashed and was refusing to start up. It's a 14 year old computer so anytime it has trouble I have to start worrying that this might be the last time and I'll need to replace it. Extra worrying is that this would mean I lose a bunch of time getting back up to speed on a new app/computer. It finally restarted, so I was able to finish, but it's definitely a concern.

I had been considering that, it'd probably be a good idea. I use Photoshop CS2 because I picked it up way back when I started drawing in high-school. I'm told gimp is a good substitute for that, I'd be at least looking for something that properly interfaces with my tablet so I can take advantage of the stabilizer stuff.
And yeah, executives are surprisingly unwilling to solve actual problems.
