Please DM/email me the receipt of your purchase in August, or the email talking about my "suspension" (The image above). And I'll send you the current months MEGA link to make up for it.
Hey! I got banned on Pixiv Fanbox overnight. I've been using it for 3 years and not following Japanese censor laws, so it's not fault of the site. (Although when I tried to censor on their site they still took my posts down and flagged me, so no wonder I stopped censoring).
I'll figure out what to do this month going forwards. But I should finish up chapter 5 linework before I give it much thought.

This is super shit for Artca, so don't think I'm defending this. I like explaining history.
It's because the law pretty much mirrored US puritan laws right after WW2 (There's cultural history too, but it's complicated.) However, while the US laws were updated, the Japanese did not. Since it was written into their constitution, it was much harder to change. Basically: you can draw penises all you want, but you can't distribute them.
So they've just been interpreting it leniently. Somewhat recently they allowed pubic hair to be shown uncensored. And no politician wants to go on the career-ruining campaign to amend the law so people have better porn.
TL;DR: Old law everyone knows doesn't make sense, including the lawmakers. Enforces anyway because Japan is a conservative country (and rabble-rousing is often frowned upon.)

Congrats on managing to offend modern day cultists and their dark age values: With the gorgeous stuff you draw, I can only imagine what did it. I haven't used that service and barely heard of it, thank goodness for that... I'm sure there are alternatives but that sucks and it's another reminder of the miserable and laughable times we live in.
Ah, Japan. Yeah I know some artists there had to put black bars and stuff on their art citing some medieval law, many obviously don't care as I doubt anyone would enforce something as demented as that but of course it scares others. As much as I like them on other things, Japan needs to step out of the dark ages with this stuff together with America... I mean come on they gave the world hentai and even offended the UN they should be a world leader in the fight against puritanism!
Well, um...
1. People are totally arrested for this in Japan. Though it's rare because nobody prints uncensored on a wide scale.
2. Japan's government officially denies genocide during WW2, so that's probably what you're referring too with the UN? That's just confusing to me how that correlates. The UN is like the opposite of puritanical: they're diplomats lol. They don't give a fuck about stuff like that.
3. Given how we're both posting dicks and cunts on an American-based website, I thiiiiiink our laws regarding sexual content are not nearly comparable. Like really, you can go buy hentai advertised on the street in Akihabara. It's just censored. In America, we'd find that odd regardless of censorship.
4. I'm getting some odd vibes, and I don't think you're interested in Japanese/US history, so I don't think I'm going to continue this conversation.

Was referring to the UN attempting to ban anime a few years ago. Yeah that was a thing, they tried to introduce a planetary art police because hentai and such scared them. Obviously it was dropped in early stages once the outrage grew and they realized it's not worth it.
And that's okay. I'm no expert in Japanese culture, but generally I'd regard them positively and one of the few places in this world I wouldn't mind visiting.
