A fully handcrafted semi-sculpture featuring a D&D Mimic chest that I finished a couple of weeks ago - Just missed to upload it while I was (and still am) busy with moving, shrhr.
The chest is entirely functional.
While the Chest itself is made out of actual wood (and fake leather straps), I used some clay to sculpt the mimic parts.
For the teeth I used ''Cosclay'', which is somewhat more expensive then usual clay but is fairly flexible once baked (so the teeth will bend when pressure is applied to them and they won't break off. This was very important for me, as I do plan to take this chest with me whenever we are playing on a campaign, storing all of my D&D stuff inside of it... so this will be benefitial for its lifespan by a great deal. )
The eyes are made from glass cabochons that I painted myself.

Indeed~ xD would ask if you'd be interesting in working on the idea with me but not sure if you're open for comms or would be interested in the idea~ And yea, he in lore gained a Drake form by staying with a Dragonborn that had fed him and decided to follow her around~ xD
Sure! In general, I am open for comms and the Idea seems intriguing to me. But I would need further information to see, what is possible and what not, as I do not want to dissapoint you afterwards. Best would be to send me a Note with your expectations.
Ah! I see. I love the creativity! :D
