This is my series of my cartoon "the shelter", a serie about accepting stray animals as work animals.
Plot: the story goes as a father stray dog named "Luke" cares for his pup named "jack" when they need to survive the harsh city life, The same is said for a owl mother named "Marcella" who cares for her owlet named "Lars". Both were in danger of feral stray dogs and cats who threatens to eat the offspring of the two, Marcella has to face feral stray cats while Luke faces feral stray dogs while they are in the streets. As both characters thought their hope is lost, a K-9 unit of wolves came to Luke's and Jake's help while a AV-1 unit of falcons came to Marcella's and lars's aid. As the two units rescued both Luke, jake, Marcella and lars from the feral animals, they were offered to stay in the "shelter", knowing their lives will be safe from the feral animals that threatens to eat them. Understanding the unit team leaders words, they decided to stay in the shelter where the two characters will meet and greet each other as friends. As they arrive in the shelter, they were greeted by k-9 and av-1 unit members as welcomed addition to their workforce. Luke would work as a shelter escapee tracker while Marcella as a patrol owl. Lars and Jake learn over time to become best friends together while working in different units. They will also meet mates that give both Jake and lars offsprings that will help the shelter.

The shelter: the shelter is a stray animal sanctuary center that resembles a 1950's prison.
K-9 unit: a unit consisting of wolves, jackals, coyotes and dogs.
Av-1 unit: a unit consisting of falcons, eagles, hawks, kites and owls.
Eq-9 unit: a unit consisting of draft horses, fell and Dale ponies.
Hy-unit: a unit consisting of hybrids of wolf, dog, coyote, jackal and dog hybrids.
X-ani: a unit consisting of dog behaving horses, tigers, lions, pumas, pathers and lynxes.
Characters:
Luke: a wolf shepherd mix who protects and cares for Jake.
Marcella: a barn tawny owl mix that protects and cares for Lars.
Lars: a Offspring of Marcella and his unknown father.
Jake: a puppy of Luke and his unknown mother.
