Thought to combine a couple of challenges. There's my quest to draw an otter that looks like something. There was a nice sketch at https://tech.lgbt/@prehensile/108693504972977149 to give me inspiration, though. But also, I was wanting to try drawing a transparent or translucent character, So here I'm trying to do something with a bit of shading, and a bit of gloss, and layers that ... mm. It's a start, at least. I've got to figure ways to draw parallel curves in Procreate if I'm going to do much of this.

Also a twist this time: I flipped the canvas horizontally. I know that's a technique often used to find out if a drawing is secretly bad. Turns out, my badness is not a secret! It looks about the same either way.
