Yesterday I visited the ancient westgerman city of Trier.
Catedral St. Peter in Trier. The sign reads:

For more than 1600 years faitfull humans have come here to pray to god, hear his good news and first and foremost gather strength from the holy communion, that Jesus Christ gave at his last supper, for their duties in this world."
