Inspired by a card that tells the player to make it bigger, I created a card under the idea of expanding a weapon to drastic size and flattening the opposition with it. My mind immediately imagined a tanuki expanding its pouch to use as a club, and then I had to come up with an alternative gag that didn't break the card design rules. The closest analogue I thought up was the floppy thing on a turkey's face. Space constraints led me to hand-letter the title for the first time.
