Whenever I can, I'd rather do stuff in b/w. A better practice for my comic skills... (that, and Im much too lazy to do colors,lol)

frankly im still figuring things out for halftones. There's an odd thing about MS. The gradient halftone was not round here, more like a cross pattern, though I clearly used dots for its settings.
The only thing I would suggest is that don't always use tones with high density. the end result will not differ with if you color gray on photoshop. I usually use 40-55, depending on how you want the tones to look when printed. And noise/ other kinds of tones aside from dots actually adds a nice variety.
I assume you meant white dots on the action lines? it's just white brush on a different layer. The action lines were made by using parallel ruler.
oh, if it helps, I used comipa.deviantart.com artwork as references. So far he's the best user of MS that I can find. (and mentioned it in his works, anyway)
