Seattle so rarely gets snow, I've been giddy and giggly, and playing with a camera every time I turn around. Went out to the park with a buddy this afternoon and made myself use my infrared camera for a change. I think I'm finally starting to get it's focus idiosyncrasies.
As we were leaving, the world's largest flock of geese goes overhead. For the helluvit I'm shooting at 17mm (my 17-55 is the most useful lens on the infrared camera).
This lens has truly awful glare and flare in the infrared band. But seen another way, it has truly impressive glare and flare in the infrared band.
This is the kind of abstract crap I'm learning appeals to a very very narrow niche of people. But I like this. ^_^ So I will continue to make stuff like it.
