Thank you so much! I really admire your birds so bonus love to your comment. I mostly use the Round Oil Pastel tool with a high grain setting so it's smoooooth. Also some detail airbrush for finer lines, and soft airbrush for some of that sheen.

Thanks! I'll try those a out! I never work with Airbrush so... It might as well create the magic I lack!

As for your blue jay, don't let him sing while he plays, please :D
Those bastards have the most aggressive song I know of.

BEAUTIFUL work! Great job on the subtle markings and texture of the different feathers on the body! Bluejays are silly birds. In our backyard, they either sit in the tree and scream for ten minutes before flying to the feeder, grabbing one seed and flying away, or they're so quiet you don't know they're at the feeder until you look out and happen to see them.

Blue Jays are my favorite bird. =) I was impressed with the other MFF "Chicago Blues" related work you helped to do with the Restuarant guide and large hand book. Your detail to everything is amazing to my eyes, I love your work. =D
