On another plane, far from his home, the mind mage has taken on a freelance job to infiltrate a gala where many of its most successful and powerful people have gathered, to collect information on them. If nothing else, it was an opportunity to get a feel for this strange new place. And although he can turn himself invisible to all living things, his magic is incapable of shielding his presence from cameras and other recording devices.

That might deter an amateur, but Enigma was never a one-trick wolf. Studying his quarry, and the party that they were attending, he decided that the easiest way to infiltrate the compound would simply be through the front door, via invitation.

Not his invitation, mind you. He's not entirely sure who he pickpocketed, but they clearly didn't need to get it as much as he did.

And so here he is, as much in his element as he ever is, a chameleon in all but species. The guests will remember the gallant and entertaining wolfkin, dressed to the nines, even if they have difficulty placing his face or name.

As for Enigma, he got what he came for, and a great deal more.
