It was warm all week and I grew tired of the olive tree models. I wondered if I could create a snowy scene. I had no idea how to even approach snow as a material and geometry, but Blender has a super neat tool for snow creation that ships with it, including a decent snow material setup that can be easily tweaked.
The incredible Hoodwink model and rig was made by
vlad-lox if I'm not mistaken. I just adjusted a few material settings with her eyes.
My far background can use a lot of work, adding more depth with a distant mountain ridge was a last minute idea and I had no idea how to texture it. I improvised with some noise nodes, but I have to check a tutorial for later revisions, I'm not happy with it.
This scene was a little more heavy on the render time, nearly all materials use scattering.
