He's my new friend! He's a North American river otter! A feral friend, but bigger than usual river otters at about 4'1" (1.24m) tall when standing upright on his hind legs. He's also got some unique markings if you look closely at his haunch and forehead in this image. I hope you like him! I've gotten to know and like him well! Both outside and uhhh... in. >///<

This character was conceptualized as part of a throwaway gag in a silly RP waaaay back in March 2021 where Bisky died in a toy plane crash and got resurrected, but something went wrong and he switched places with an otter named Seeko! Shenanigans ensued, and then the character disappeared after that RP, dormant in my mind for the next 13 months until I brought him back for an April Fools' Day character swap. This time I decided to keep him around and develop his character more.

He's a switch, though so far I've really only treated him as a pred. His design actually isn't finished as I haven't done anything with the design on his back. I just know those stripes will come together... somehow. I specifically asked Zany to do this sort of front view so I could procrastinate on that some more. His original personality was to be a bit skittish and obsessed with keeping his whiskers well-groomed, but Bisky kinda took over the skittish personality, so Seeko is instead more confident and teasy. Might still try and do stuff with his whiskers, though. I liked that concept.

Anywho, I am loving the artwork here, too! I love the way the waves of water look when light refracts into them and it scatters onto things in the water, and Zany really delivered on that! not to mention that absolutely stunning water surface. I'm really impressed with how this turned out considering they have never done something with water refraction like this before!
