Here it is, after 3 years playing this marvelous game, 2 unfinished drafts, and 9 months in writing, it´s finished, the 6 parts (divided in 5 chapters) are completed, I never would have guessed that such a simple concept would end up as a lyrical work.
Since highscool I had this simple idea of giving some songs of the game lyrics, like the battles with the magpies and the Kookaburras Jamboree, but further in planning, I understood that I needed to do more for the love I had with this game, there I started my frist draft of this fanfic, in this first draft the pace was faster in therms of narration, I wanted to give a quirk to every magpie, like the rhyme-talk of the sturdy magpie, but after an accident I errased all my progress, somewhere along the lines of the Kookaborras, and that helped me alot since that draft didn´t made any sence, I had to start over.
Then came my second draft, this time with some upgrades: Prologue with Pea and the crimson field, and in general better narration, the songbird now had little to no diallogue, in contrast of the first draft that was very talkative, and better writing for the characters, but months passed and I lost interest.
This story was on hiatus until Octobet 2021, when I was filled with inspiration with a side project, starting over yet again but this time taking notes of my last draft, getting to this point in the story, and I´m super excited because this project it´s finally completed and I´m pride enough to bring something to the dead comunity of Songbird Symphony, I only wish that one day this game gets the reconiction it deserves.
I doubt, after uploading this, I upload something in the future in this account, but only time can tell, before I feel in a rabbid hole of another oscure indie game like this game did to me.
