Angelic Descent on Xarthus
The Light you know and love is not from wherever you may live. The land of Xarthus is a hostile and dark land where day is seen by few and worshipped by the many. The inhabitants cherish what light they have because it protects them from the afflicted, a hivemind of bone and flesh that consumes as much living tissue it can find in order to grow and expand. Using what little magic from the powers of the sun there is on this land, the inhabitants fight back against the afflicted, but always just barely keeping it back. Light being an inquisitor fights the afflicted, keeping the people on Xarthus safe.
