A dragon flies through a moon light river gorge with a castle in the background.
This was not quite a speed painting, nor was it fully line art... It was fully an experiment. The background was done as one layer as a speed painting ... the character started as line art and I tried (only half successful) to tone down the lines a bit. I think over all it came out good.

digital... i sometimes draw in pencils or use inks.. but i suck with traditional color medias like pencils or paints.

Umm.. i am curious if there are things you dislike about it...
I am always looking for critique or commentary to improve by but its rare i see any on FA.

Well, I'm no trained eye and I too have problems with things in my own media :P but I can give it a go.
Honestly, your foreshortening seems to be spot on and the sense of moonlight was done great as well. Reason I asked if it was traditional painting was the dragon, there are a few spots on him that almost look like brush strokes.
Thats all my 2cents was able to find. However, if you want an opinion from someone who's actually taking classes for art, my friend might be able to give you constructive criticism :D

There are some things that I failed with that I am aware of... quite honestly the whole matter of doing one half as a speed painting .. and the other half as line art kinda resulted in a sort of funkiness and two styles that at a minor level tend to clash... (though not nearly so bad as say a cartoon in a photorealistic setting XD) But I was wondering if anything jumped out at you as detracting or displeasing.

Actually yes.......... you are the only one who mentioned it beside aerofox who i talked with on the phone. He said it was very dark. On my screens it doesnt look so bad- But after talking with him I realized my screens are probably changing how it appears to me.
I'll be uploading a different version of it at some point.
