Two more ladies from my in-production series Maison.

This is home-decor independent decorator/designer Hyacinth Deming, a blue hooded rat demure girly-girl who starts her day with a package muffin and a smile, and spends her days reading fashion magazines, checking what's new in interior design and waiting for the phone to give her work. (And yes, she dyes her hair.)

And beside her, is her loving, adoring partner, Madeline Vertue, a black hooded rat. She starts her day ridiculously early with a jog to the gym, where she does a lot of lower-body work, sensible for a rat. She jogs home, eats some breakfast, and heads out to her job as forewoman for city construction jobs.
