First partial head I've ever done. So far I'm happy with how it is turning out. Though I think it looks a bit too large when I put it on.
The story behind this is that my friend Xavier wanted me to make him a Kistune head for FCN...well I figured I would use a bit of scrap fur I've had for a long time and try to make a head before screwing with the materials he had bought.
I've come up with a better way to do the base of the head, that should take care of the size issue I seem to be having with this one.
Things to finish:
Fur (You can see the parts that aren't sewn yet. x3 Also needs to be trimmed down)
Mouth (Tongue, she already has teeth)
Nose
Redo Eyes (They look horrible)
Airbrushing
Rest of partial @.@

Well after this picture was taken I began trimming and decided it was getting to bulky, so I've actually cut down on the size and am redoing quite a few parts to it.
But all in all I've probably spent around $20 on materials. A lot of the fur and other items I had lying around that my mother gave to me. The upholstery foam was used as the base, the two gray furs are actually the stuff that was lying around, and the black fur I got 50% off at a fabric store. She does have teeth that I sculpted but you can't see them from this angle. x3

BTW your eyes look lovely :3 On mine, they will be the first things to go since I can't see :( What did you use for them? Is there a hole in the pupil?
PS: Don't buy professional materials. Buy cheapo materials that are meant for something else but accomplish the same thing ;) i.e. for eyes, you can get a 48" roll of fiberglass screening for $6 at Walmart. It's what I'm about to use for eyes.
