I finally, finally found some bristol paper in NZ, so I snaffled it up and have been trying it out. It handles copic markers gorgeously, though it's going to take me a little while to get the hang of pencils on it (I'm really not used to using anything that smooth)! At least I know how to handle it for my traditional commissions now.
The scanner really mauled the warm colours on this, I tweaked it as best I could, but I'm not sure how well it worked. Hopefully this guy will make it to the FC art show so some o' you guys can see him in person!
He's 15x21cms (5.9x8.2") though he'll likely get matted if he makes it to the FC art show.

SCARF! O.O I like the shiny orange foxy with bushy tail, he looks cuddlely to hug. =D I think the color still fought the scanner, to my eyes it looks great even with the usual problem with color hungry scanners. XD Lovely job Buka!
This reminds me to find my scarf for this winter, its getting quite miserable in the land of Wisconsin. XD *chivers*
