This is true. I've had a nurse talk to me about my Eeveelution bag when getting blood draw cause she saw how nervous I was, that I didn't even realize the nurse doing the draw was putting the needle in. I felt it and went "Oh..." then just went back to chatting like nothing happened. It was rather amusing.
