Note: I REALLY needed to update Midnight's ref cause a. I was REALLY bad at drawing on her last ref and b. She has gone through SO MUCH CHANGES that I can't keep up with it and I need to make things clear to everyone about Midnight cause I sucked at the drawing back then ... and yes, warning, this is a HUGE file so be careful ...
So ... without further ado, Midnight the Umbreon's Reference V4
- Midnight has gone through so many hair styles and drawing styles on her mane so I decided to just stay with one style for now ... untill I change it again xD ...
- Eevee and Evon forms changed also to be more original
(remember, Midnight's evon form belongs to me, but evon species completely belongs to :devkiraradaisuki: )
- Made an entire section on the reference just for her back and leg markings cause for some reason, I don't know why, but people keep screwing them up when drawing her. It's a slight, but enough for me to notice ...
- That being said, let me try to easily explain her leg markings. As shown in the dialogue on the right, think of her markings as a corkscrew and a circle. The top marking starts at the front, wraps around, and stops on the inside part of the leg. That goes for both sides of the body, and for the bottom, it's a whole circle so that wraps around completely.
- Midnight has gone through SO many accessories now that I just say, she doesn't hav an "permament" accessory. Although it is nice for a character, I'll say this: Any scarf, bow, handkerchief, hair pin and necklace looks good on her be it on the left ear, (that's where hair accesories will ALWAYS be) or on her mane, looks good on her :)
- Notice now that she has an anthro form. I decided to do that just for the reason that I started college and I am practicing anatomy. So any drawings of Midnight in anthro will help me out in the end.
- I also decided to add in the color codes on the ref as they would appear in photoshop to make things more specific :)
- Also adding a little bit of personal info and one specifically "Who he/she relates to" For that reason, since me and sis are so close, we've come up with so many character pairings that I honestly can't keep track of them anymore from memory so I decided to add that in to keep things organized
Anything else I forgot I will add, but otherwise I think that's it. Any further questions, let me know and I hope this makes things clearer for you guys of understanding Midnight and her personal appeals that make her, her and make her recognizable as Midnight the Umbreon
