Oh, I could definitely believe it. I've seen all kinds of nice dogs just thrown out on the way-side, probably because someone got mad at them, tired of cleaning up after them, or didn't feel like spending all the money.. or just got bored with them. I don't see why people get pets if they can't make commitment..
