Ghelasar is a silver dragonborn who has very distinct features which include small horns on the top of his head and the head featured a blunt snout, a strong brow, and reptilian frills on the cheeks and ears. Within his town of Uthar, he was regarded highly ever since birth. Both of his parents were wealthy noble merchants and one of the most powerful of families.
Ever since he was able to move he was always training. His parents believed he should aspire for greatness, draconic blood should not be wasted, they hired countless tutors from around the globe to turn their son into a champion for Uthar.
With each passing day, his skill improved martial fighting, tactical planning, and horse combat all came naturally to him and he mastered them all in an incredible time. Though a master of the art of war he faced little in struggles throughout his illustrious life. Everything he faced in life was handled with ease and the problems he had faced would be solved by another or nothing a few hundred pounds of gold could quench.
His lineage as well coddled him, many knew the name of Ghelasar of House Uthar due to his parents being the emperor's very own private merchants fetching goods from around Vaerun. Thus Ghelasar never took root in one place always moving with his parents as they went too far away lands to trade. Though he never did this in squalor he always would do this in the lap of luxury.
The fact that his family was so powerful and held so much wealth was not something that Ghelasar ever considered to be odd and he never inquired about the fact. He simply thought that wealth was a common trait of dragonborns, that they were naturally rich and powerful people. Thus he took his wealth for granted being inept in social graces with those of a lower class or the downtrodden. Being so coddled led Ghelasar to seem insensitive or obvious at the time though this was more a fault of his upbringing than his personality, which was quite brave and noble.
Unbeknownst to him even though his family was loving and seemed like noble people, no amount of nobility can keep those from the allure of wealth. These good people would often commit corrupt acts to attain more wealth and power. Though instead of becoming another warrior, Ghelasar saw a high calling in serving the god Bahamut. Ghelasar believed that with his noble blood and stature he should show the world his greatness and march forward away from the posh and prestige of his house and bring the world to know his name.
He longed to hear the crowds call his name as he wished to have the moniker other than just the son of the house Uthar, but as the Champion of Uthar or even Champion of Vaerun. So with that idea in his mind, he completed his training in the church of Bahamut jumped on his loyal steed Camachi and road off, lance in hand to make the world know of Ghelasar of House Uthar, muttering one simple line in his head over and over.
"Make them proud"
Another little story for a character's background I made a while ago, but edited a few things now.
