Wasnt gunter refusing this kind of stuff for that one other raptor he was boning many pages ago? And... What happened to his sense of urgency regarding the newcomers being trapped like they became? Guess its no surpise, not much time for story when porn is the main goal after all. While i like the worldbuilding i have seen (for the most part) i think there is far too little of it for nothing but orgy after orgy in this one for me. A shame really, seemed an interesting world to see

Maybe I can clear up some character motivations for you. Gunter wasn't refusing Thistle in the other scene specifically because he was saving himself for Gwen. He just takes his work seriously and hadn't scheduled time to mess around with Thistle. He bent that rule when Gwen showed up mainly because they're colleagues and he's extremely fond of her. Gunter really meant it when he said Thistle's offer was tempting, but he was just too busy at the time.
As for the current situation... Finding Shana and Justin is actually a high priority for him because he needs to figure out where they came from and make sure they know how things work in Middle Disk (the place they're currently located in inside the larger world of Feralis). It isn't actually extremely urgent though. It hasn't been mentioned directly in this comic, but it was established long ago in the early days of Frisky Ferals that the transformation takes a good while to become permanent.
Gunter would rather be doing his job, but Kindle is actually his direct superior. He was hired to serve and assist him. He's also very fond of Kindle in a fatherly/mentorish sort of way, even if Kindle does tax his patience from time to time. He could protest and resist Kindle's advances, but because of his soft spot for him he decided to just let Kindle and the girls have their fun and get it over with so he can get them out of his hair and get back to work.
It isn't stated outright here, but Feralis is a fairly carefree and highly sexual place. Sudden and/or random flings are not at all uncommon. The nature of Feralis is something that will be touched on in the future.
As you say, there is more to it than random orgies and more of that will come out over time, but random orgies are actually a completely normal part of the world.
