Here is the partial of my chibi dragon Diamond. She is my first anime style suit and dragon. Something completely new to me. She has detachable hair, small numb horns that are under her hair, and a long fluffy tail.
On an important note....i do not want to hear i ripped off someone's design. Again...i did not, i was inspired by loki/laki's suits and among other chibi dragons. This is my style of chibi and once i finish the bodysuit that goes along with it, it will look nothing like Loki/laki's characters in any way.

Diamond is my personal suit.

Awww...your are sweet *hugs* You know what just hit me.....when i was making diamond i was listening to Micheal jackson's music the whole time O.o I swear i listened to thriller and smooth crime a shit ton while i was working on her head lol. To the point that i was dnaing in place *facepaw*
I like the eyes a LOT! And darn it, I just don't know why some furs get uppity about 'stealing designs'... That's like sayin' "No, you can't fursuit in any way a fox, because I'M the fox." Ya never hear the herds complaining about things like, stealing fur design. LOL.
I can't wait to see the finished Diamond fursuit. +Watch

Wow, your argument.. all over the place.
Firstly, when someone CREATES a species; like, sits down and takes the time to think up a species, that DOES make it THEIR species. And unless they say it's alright, making a character using their species is considered stealing. There are plenty of open species out there, the sergal, the synx, the nevrean, the unigan.. The artists who created the species have that right to say that it's okay to use them. Then there are species that aren't open, because the artist either wants to keep it to themselves as an original idea, or.. they just don't want to make it an open species. It depends. But either way, by posting those species to a place that endures thievery on a daily basis, these artists are placing a sort of trust in their viewers. A trust that they will not be unoriginal and steal their art, their designs, or their species. Some, I am happy to say, are good about this and don't do any of that. Others don't. Others see nothing wrong with plagiarizing someone's hard work and butchering it until it's a twisted, ugly homunculus of the originality and uniqueness they once were. The artists have every reason to be angry about this, that's THEIR work that's being melted into some disgusting chimera for the amusement of someone who didn't have the capacity to make something up on their own.
And actually, there's a journal almost every day about somebody stealing someones fur design. Sometimes it's blatant, but other times it seems like they just wanted something to complain about.
Now, I've seen that this artist is being accused of stealing a design, and after taking a really long look at the suit and character, I have actually found very few similarities. The head is VERY similar to the design of Loki and Laki's, roughly the same facial structure, large ears, slit nostrils, fur used as eyelashes; but there are more differences than anything else.
Laki and Loki are much more stockily built, larger hips, thicker feet, thicker fur, smaller ears, plantigrade legs, and shaved bellies. Not to mention no wings.
Whereas Diamond is quite a bit more draconic looking; longer snout, small feathered wings, digitrade legs, smaller feet, larger ears (somewhat fennec-like in my opinion), and a potentially rudder-like tail. Not to mention the presence of scales, which Laki and Loki do not have. Overall, I can tell right off the bat that these are in fact two different species.
Eris has specified that she WAS inspired by Laki and Loki's fursuit, thus giving credit to the original design. Granted, she is still editing a design that someone else created, and I can see why that would upset the artist, but to my understanding this problem was resolved and a compromise was reached. My own argument is over a year late, but your comment activated my 'wut' senses. It seems to me that many were as quick to apologize for the trouble they gave Eris as they were to start it, and that is sad.
While I do not agree with Eris' method, I commend her for taking action to resolve any problems that there might have been and coming to a compromise, as it is more than most of those 'called out' on thieving would do. Most would just whine and cry and switch accounts until they had been chased off FA for good. She was willing to change to avoid stepping on artistic toes.
I apologize for being a year late with this rant.
