For a long time, I've wanted to design some elaborate, ornate makeup. The concept of outrageous makeup that spreads beautifully across the face goes hand-in-hand with my love of extremely fancy outfits. It's tricky, though. Intricate facial markings can easily look messy or ugly, or make it hard to tell the markings apart from the contours that shape the face. I made this as a trial run/proof of concept. Tsume was generous enough to allow me to paint him up pretty.
