One more 2022 Car Show posting and I promise that's all! ^_^
Some of you may recognise this car; I've shown it here before, and I was delighted to see it at the car show again.
It's a rare 1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Coupe: the uncommon two-door version. Most of the Cadillac Fleetwoods were four-door cars, and they only produced the two-door coupe for a few years in the early 1980s.
I owned this Bad Boy for about two years before I sadly had to sell it. I sold it a few years ago when I moved from my old place and no longer had a garage in which to keep it. I couldn't leave it outside to the mercy of the North Atlantic elements; it would have been toast within two years -- sunburned, salt-blasted and rustbucketed beyond salvation.
Luckily, a friend of mine is an enthusiastic (and wealthy) car guy, and he was after me to sell him this car practically as soon as I got it. He wanted a big American Land Yacht like a Cadillac or a Lincoln to round out his herd of Muscle Cars, Street Rods and Corvettes.
So, when I finally accepted the fact that I couldn't justify keeping this car for lack of storage, I called my friend and asked if he still wanted it. Happily, he agreed. And, as you can see, it's in good hands; it's every bit as clean and nice as it was when I owned it! I miss that car...
One more Crossfof Camera Presentation. ^_^

Haha yeah, I'm an oldie...43!
I sold the DeSoto to a guy who used it to restore one like it. Mine was a sedan, and he was restoring a convertible.
My car had lots of rare options: power windows, power seat, record player, A/C etc. He wanted the rare options from mine to install in his convertible.
