These are all 25 icons from round 4! This was due a week ago, but because of schedule delays I only finished these 2 days ago. The theme was winter and autumn, but with only one autumn icon I thought naming this for the more abundant winter themed ones was appropriate.
I'll be working on Round 5 via livestream soon, but as of right now I'm closed for icon commissions! I will reopen again sometime, just keep an eye out on my recent journals for openings. =)

Do you mean the theme, the medium, or the general drawing/coloring style? Either way, the reason I have is because with icons I like to provide consistency of style and such so that when people order one they have a good idea of what they are going to get, and I'm not wildly varying things so that folks are disappointed or surprised when they get their icon.
Style consistency is a good thing when offering commissions for the reasons I stated above, and process consistency is important if you're doing tons of these all in a row and want them all to look good. The result of having a similar process from item to item is a similar look to each image. Which again is a valuable thing to offer when taking private commissions like these.
respectfully, i must say that her style is a lot of the reason people commission her (i assume). for example, i tend to commission a handful of the same artists again and again because i like the looks of *their* work and how they render certain things.

Oh. ...I must have come across as a real jerk. I didn't mean to. I just have issues with consistency like this, and to be honest, I wish I could do it like she does. I like her art too, and her style, or I wouldn't watch her. Plus I've watched her and her style for years. :)
I mostly asked about her style because I like to know why someone styles things that way. Plus its fun to find out. So no disrespect was meant here.

I totally forgot to e-mail you back telling you how much I absolutely LOVE my icon. So I shall share my adoration of it publically, haha. c:
You did such a fantastic job making her look peaceful and calm. I love her content expression and the way you drew her holding the mug. It's perfect and totally makes me crave some hot cocoa (btw, I recommend Cold Stone Creamery's hot chocolate if you haven't tried it; it's very fudgey and smooth).
Much love to you again Nym and thank you! It's always a pleasure to work with you and I've loved both my icons you've made for me. All of these are gorgeous! <333
