It gets hard to tell nowadays, everyone uses LOL and other emojis to mock people when they are debating so the line between serious and joking is pretty blurred

You can say again. One moment you feel like you should be walking on eggshells with every person you comment online, then you have delightful conversation with somebody who takes criticism like a champ, and then the next person you leave a comment on, has a total mental conniption, who then blocks you, preventing you from responding even if it's to apologize, and then asks total strangers on the internet to give out your personal information, track you down, and start beating down on your doorstep. Calling it hate speech or whatever.

But yeah, it really does get hard nowadays. We need something stronger than "emojis" or "LOL's" these days, especially when you can't tell if their being sarcastic.

Exactly, and not just people who claim they are above criticism are the most corrupt.
I've noticed that people who scream racism, facism, sexism etc. are the most corrupt, hypocritical, and narcistic smucks on Earth.

Not to mention when you call out these smucks accusing them of exactly how they describe others then they flip it around and call you, me, us, whomever, as being hypocritical. Even when that person used that word once or twice and these smucks said these words a million times.

You are correct.
I just had a conversation with my dad who took my comment way too seriously over supper. (Why so serious dad, why so serious dad) was what I was thinking. So, I retreated to my room using the internet as my escapism reminding me again why I don't to talk to my family anymore.
