A quiet, blessed place where the fiddlehead ferns and young sprucelings grow under the protective shade of the tall, benevolent trees.
The long-fallen tree now makes for a comfortable seat from where one can enjoy the sights, scents and sounds of this beautiful forest. In the background, a dry, leaning tree will soon fall (along with another leaning tree in the distance), providing future visitors with a seat when this one has peacefully decomposed back into the surrounding earth.
The silence and sounds of the forest are all around...
