This is the strange nonsense stuff I come up with on crap sleep with no desire to make acceptable art. I think my brain is secretly very whimsical. And addicted to octopi in some strange way.
Still experimenting with the hovering figure. This is the best I can do with a scan as the real final piece will be 3D. I suppose I could take a photo but I know the detail wouldn't be as good. It'll be up in the show at fc for those of you interested in seeing the original.

I think this would make an interesting and really cool Patch Together piece. With the map as a backdrop and the octopus sitting in front of it (as you are doing with the picture itself). I think it would make a cool little desk piece/figure. Just something interesting to own.
