Lately, I've been disappointed with where my art skill is currently sitting and decided to take a bit of time to practice the expressions and facial structures of different anthropomorphic characters, ending up with a little series of post-transformation portraits of some of the cast of Kroashent. I may extend these to other characters, both original and pop-culture, but for now, enjoy this little side series.

Morgiana is inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, the seminal collection of Middle Eastern folk tales, and a jackal really seemed to fit Morgiana's clever, sometimes devious personality. Also, jackals are fun to draw and Kroashent doesn't often give me an excuse to work on creatures outside of those found in the fauna and fantasy of Northwestern Europe.
