Another weekend has arrived and Kuro once again finds himself at the local nightclub, lonely and depressed, desperately trying to drown out his sorrows with the most expensive alcohol he can purchase. It has been well over one thousand years, but the dragon still thinks about his deceased griffon companion, hoping that he is now happy in the afterlife. Perhaps Shiro has found a better partner to spend eternity with. Someone that was not a coward and not terrified of death. Someone that he can hold lovingly for several hours straight, never wanting to let go.
The number of paparazzi just outside the VIP lounge seems larger than normal. All of them are here to take photographs of 'the dragon who does not age'. Every conceivable angle captured for the whole world to see. Kuro simply does not care for this kind of attention though. None of the reporters nor the millions of followers care about him or what he is going through mentally. Many have attempted to seduce the dragon, hoping to form some kind of bond, all have been swiftly rejected. It is clear most people are only interested in Kuro for the potential fame that would come with such a relationship. Some foolishly believe that being involved with Kuro will somehow allow them to live forever as well. Others are simply employed by corporations who are looking to obtain the stygian suit for themselves. While things do look bleak for the dragon, fortunately, there is one friend Kuro has made that he can definitely trust.
A synth has just arrived at the same nightclub and unsurprisingly, finds Kuro polishing off what appears to be his third bottle of whiskey. The synth has the unfortunate job of providing a ride home to individuals who have had a few too many drinks. Such a job requires a larger frame, as the clients can range from small species such as rats and mice to larger species like bulls. Occasionally the clients are so intoxicated, they need to be carried to the synths vehicle and then once again, carried to their place of residence, which could be the top floor of a large apartment complex. The synth normally leaves the clients just outside the door to their home, but with Kuro, he makes an exception. The synth will bring Kuro inside his apartment and lay him down on the bed, ensuring the dragon is safe and secure.
Like Kuro, the synth has become quite lonely and has reached a point where he desires some kind of companionship. He understands the pain that Kuro has been going through and wants to make him feel better; to make him feel loved and appreciated. The synth believes that he would be a perfect partner, as he is merely looking for a platonic relationship. This means that Kuro would not have to feel guilty about being sexually intimate with another. The synth also has an incredibly long lifespan; which means Kuro would not have to go through the pain of losing another. Synth technology has advanced significantly over the years, with studies being done that would allow a synths memories to be transferred to another synthetic body if the need arises. If that technology is perfected, the synth could technically continue living indefinitely.
Tonight is the night. Once the synth has brought Kuro home and given him adequate time to sober up, he will explain his growing attraction to the dragon and propose the idea of forming a loving, but non-sexual bond with each other. The synth is quite nervous about how Kuro will react, but also excited at the idea of being in a relationship with someone he has developed strong feelings for. Hopefully Kuro will consider the proposal and accept someone new into his life.
During the drive home, the synth dreams of holding the dragon lovingly for several hours straight, never wanting to let go. ^_^

For sure. Sometimes I have an entire scenario in my head, but the art can only really capture a single moment from that scenario. It's nice to provide a write-up of the entire scenario so people have a better idea what lead up to the captured moment and in some cases, what happened afterward.
I will have to check out some of the stories for your art when I get the chance. ;)
