A bit of a practice to help me figure out how to draw bird head faster.
One thing I really like about birds characters is that I think they're best for the "That guy who looks like he will kill you for slightly irritating him but if you survive long enough he might tolerate your existence" archetype.

Owls value silence, considering their feathers are designed to muffle sound. (Some the best scientific tools can't record more then the tiniest of sounds and they're not sure if it was an error or true reading)

Yes but I have a lot of characters in the same universe with their design, personality and story already planned so it takes ages to get around to drawing a certain character again if they already shown in a piece. These comics are just exception where a random phrase just stick in my head and I have to make fun of it.
