Of course it's my favorite animated movie (or at least tied with Coco). It just hit all the right notes for me. It's set in 2002, when I was in elementary school, so I connected big time with Mei and her friends. I even remember saying "bomb dot com" a lot, like it was the most timeless joke ever.
Plus it takes place in Toronto- I grew up very close to Toronto and visited frequently. And of course there's an amazing story with great characters and humor and tear-jerking bits and all that.

Well, red panda tails ARE awfully nice.
I quite enjoyed that film myself. I've found it interesting some of the folks I've seen who really didn't like it though, but I guess everybody has different taste.
Case in point, I saw The Bad Guys and thought it was abysmal. There was almost nothing I liked about it. But almost everyone I've seen talking about it here seems to love it.
