There was a fiction I read when I was young about a spacefaring humanity. We had colonized our solar system and had civilizations built; on Venus it never stopped raining. The people there never knew the sun, save for a few minutes every century. I was reminded of that work of fiction and felt a need to revisit it in my imagination.
