"Next... The Wild Guesses! In color!" (Rest of text revised from inked version.)
If you've read my Crimestrikers RPG, you may remember the episode seed "Take a Wild Guess", which features a rock band from the Beat Era called The Wild Guesses. They're a Creaturian version of tough, R&B-influenced British Invasion groups like The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Yardbirds, The Kinks and The Pretty Things. Basically, they're the answer to the question "What if The Animals literally were animals?" I hope you'll all enjoy their furry freakbeat follies!
Five years later, I've hired my usual artist
Jerberjer to finally draw the original five members for me, and he's done his usual magnificent job. (Seriously, if you need a commission, hire him! He's great!) The band are, left to right: Xander Deason (bat), keyboards; Nora Blaire (rat), band co-leader, vocals and lead guitar; T.C. Clevinger (British Shorthair cat), band leader, vocals, rhythm guitar and harmonica; Victor "Vic" Hayswell (red fox), vocals and bass; and Monica Quinnell (rabbit), drums and percussion. (More info on these characters is forthcoming.)

Well, on an ordinary night they'll have a strong stage presence, and they'll cultivate a bond with the audience. However, there have been times when they've gotten into a shouting match with an especially obnoxious heckler, or waded into the audience to stop a fight, or played an extra hour just because they felt like it.
