Heh just a couple fun adopts I got from
Foxtrot68
Charlotte and Nevaeh are best friends with Mason and Vidya, having bonded in a group for individuals with odd or rare “mutations” like this.
While regular side-by-side conjoinments are relatively common in the Yorktown-verse, for an oddity, at least they make sense biologically. Queen conjoinments meanwhile simply don’t work naturally typically, relying on the strange abilities of magic to work.
For a lot of mutations, you have to be relatively close to either a ley line or wellspring to not feel sick or weak. Or have a pretty strong mana crystal “battery” with you. This energy helps compensate for unusual anatomy, both internally and externally. Particular in a (non taur) Queen Conjoined’s case, strengthen the arms.
In their case, they grew up on the Delmarva, far from a reliable source of magic, only moving to magic rich Yorktown partway through elementary school. As such, they’ve come to rely on a specially designed wheelchair to assist in their motion.
They do get rides from Mason and Vidya, and their other friends, but nothing makes them happier than showing they can do what they need to all on their wheelchair.
