Welcome back to Raccoon Renivations! Today, I’ve got a real treat for those of you who need a quick and easy solution for repairing brick walls.
Oh no! Someone pushed a brick out of this wall!
Not to worry, though, it’s a pretty easy fix. Just snag the nearest raccoon - they’ll be more than happy to help!
First off, you’ll need to learn some form of compression. Be that a spell, a machine, or just using pure brute force, it doesn’t matter.
Next, take your nearest raccoon (if you can’t find one out in the streets, store bought is fine.)
Compress them down into the shape of a rugged cuboid - don’t worry if it’s not the exact shape just yet, so long as your raccoon is now roughly brick shaped. With their body squeezed into their new rectangular shape, they won’t be able to do much - maybe a little bit of wobbling, or trying to shout profanities at you, but if you’ve squeezed and compressed them just right, they won’t be able to pop back into raccoon shape for a long while.
Before that happens, now’s the time to insert your new brick into the wall! Carefully but firmly push the brick into the desired space. As you do this, it should mold itself perfectly into the empty space, even if it’s a little uneven.
And voila! Your brick wall is once again complete! Have no fear as your new brick will not be able to pop back into its original shape with the numerous bricks and layers of mortar pushing down on it from all sides.
Of course, a raccoon-coloured brick may stick out quite a bit. If that’s your thing, then that’s great, but this wall we have here is quite old, so this is a good excuse to give it a fresh coat of paint.
Give it a few coats to ensure that the raccoon brick is completely hidden - I’d say at least three coats. Go for more if you’re not feeling confident. We’re applying a nice pale cream to our wall, but blue is also very “in” this season.
And… done! Congratulations, you’ve successfully made use of a raccoon to seamlessly repair a brick wall.
Don’t go anywhere - up next, we continue from last week’s episode where we’ll show you how to use your new raccoon fountain to spruce up any garden!
