Birdbrain can not fanthom that a certain Dragon Alchemist knew what they were and wanted to use them, but sadly was thwarted in max by an imbecile if a Pirate Captain who absorbed one in his dying moment aand was removed frrom current time to get rid of him by the second.

Why do I have the feeling that we are at last coming back around to the time altering device of Bob to solve this conondrum. Either by Gervic at last using it to make the Siege never happen at all or by showing birdbrain what transpired that night when the Artifacts were lost.

Why is everyone at Cragenwall so stubbornly ignorant and arrogant?

I get that the war itself is unnecessary but they really aren't any better.

They'd better find those artifacts and deliver them.

Does this mean that Cragenwall...doesn't actually know what the artifacts do? Because they don't even want to consider the possibility that they were activated accidentally.

I feel like this spy is taking a huge gamble not just directly asking for the artifacts (directly letting his enemies know it's valuable) but also suggesting that it could be used as a weapon of war (which they might not have known about otherwise).

Pretty bad behavior for a spy, not gonna lie. Cragenwall must be insanely desperate for the artifacts if they're willing to spill this much. The question is, why?
