Am I the only one who hates the new suit designs?

I haven't noticed the suits, to busy hating the new graphics designs. In the first movie the vehicles looked like computer generated images which was appropriate because they were in a computer. I think they raised the realism to much.

I'm not trying to start arguments here.. but it IS several years later, when graphics have vastly improved. If they made the graphics look like the old Tron, it would look pretty bad. The original Tron was ahead of its time, but not by that much.

Well I'm not sayin they shouldn't use better graphics, just that'd feel more like cyber space if they didn't look perfectly realistic.

Anyway that's getting off topic. Cool looking suit. I like the... stripes? Lines?... the part that's not black. ^^;

I dunno what trailers you've been watching but none of the vehicles looked any manner of realistic to me. oO I think the art style of the movie fits perfectly. New style like new software, updated and upgraded, yah know.

I agree the realism is too high, which takes out most of the reminder of the "digital world" stuff, but it has an explanation: the graphics today are so powerful that they would be able to make such graphics easily enough. However, I still love the new tron look, mainly the outfits, AND the old look too.

Kick ass job man! The suit looks great and fits the Tron design very well. :) As for the movie itself, I'm not really sure. It looks cool, but I can't help but feel it will be one of those movies that won't live up to the hype. But we wont know until it comes out.

I love the new suits. There is one character that has a hood and electric yellow lightning bolts instead of "stripes"

I don't think it was boring, the plot and the virtual metaphors all over it made it very appealing, till today! I'm afraid that this one will have no plat and just action - so you'll can rest assured that there'll be plenty of action. I'm praying that it will have a great balance of both, but from what we've been getting nowadays, probably not. :'(

Also, the guy with this different outfit is CLU, the ressurected and corrupted program of K. Flynn; the outfit is to get some royal/leader feeling, as he is in charge of the whole cybercity, Tron.

FUCK YEAH.
