So uh...this may come as a surprise to some folks, but...I have pokemon characters!
...Quite a few of them, in fact, accrued over the last couple of years in particular. >.>
So let's start with this lad! This is Canim, for all intents and purposes he'd be considered my "pokesona," along similar lines to Snowe, Karther, and Kears in my anthro-verse. Furrets have always been among my favorite pokemon species and I've been very happy with how this lad has turned out!
So, Canim. He's a pretty upbeat and very friendly type, arguably too friendly at times, though like my other sonas he's also got a bit of a fourth wall sense that lets him know that he can safely pull off his various shenanigans. He's maybe the most physically-affectionate of my sonas, a big fan of hugging his friends, or wrapping himself around them, or especially wrapping his belly around them. The fluffy noodle's got an insatiable appetite but also likes to just hold folks inside of himself for a while too, happy to make a cozy sleeping bag of himself. To aid in this, Canim's got a very...unusual ability, hinted at by his uniquely spiraling stripe pattern. Canim is able to "unwind" his body and his tail kind of like a screw and lengthen himself to a pretty wild degree. Ever heard of a furret that can learn the move Drill Peck? All that extra length also means there's almost nothing or no-one he can't fit in his belly.
Fun fact: the little Black Book pin that he uses to keep his loop scarf together actually slides open, and has a tiny hidden compartment inside! Perfect for storing a reviver seed or maybe some other small treasure.
