In my third runthru of the first homebrew module I ever made, we had a right proper player death. However, this player had a bit of a deal going with Tiamat. So, upon his death, he got a wee bit of a power boost. She had to ensure he could fulfill his end of the bargain, after all. This character was originally a normal griffon, but now he’s part dragon too.
